California Courts Self-Help Center (Spanish language version also available). Free legal information and filing instructions covering the most common civil legal issues including family law and divorce, small claims, protection from abuse, evictions, elder law, traffic court, etc. The “Problems with Money” section provides information about the lawsuit process. Section on criminal law provides information on the basics of criminal court, how criminal cases work, cleaning your criminal record; and rights and resources for victims of crime.

Yolo County Law Library. The Law Library provides access to legal resources and assists with finding appropriate sources for legal research questions and locating legal information (including samples, court forms and instructions) in person, by phone or email. The library staff are not attorneys, and legal advice is not provided.

EBSCO Legal Information Reference Center. This database provides free online access to the full text of all the Nolo Press self-help legal publications.
